Lake View offers 4 generously sized double bedrooms - 1 on the ground floor, and 3 on the second. Two of the bedrooms on the second floor provide flexible sleeping arrangements, through their clever use of zip-and-link beds. One can be arranged as a kingsize double, the other as a super-king double, or both as twin singles. Meanwhile, the master features a kingsize double and the 4th bedroom on the ground floor comes with a standard double.
All bedrooms come with freshly laundered bedding, and each feature flatscreens.

There are 2 bathrooms in Lake View - a large family bathroom situated on the second floor, and an en suite off the master bedroom, also on the second floor. There's also a convenient downstairs WC on the ground floor.
The family bathroom features both a bath with an integrated shower head, as well as a separate shower, plus wash basin & WC.
The private master en suite, meanwhile, boasts a walk-in, wet-room style monsoon shower, WC and wash basin.

The entire first floor of Lake View is dedicated to living space, and spills out on to the patio area and garden to the rear, whilst opening out on to a full width balcony at the front of the house.
Comprised of the living space, kitchen and dining area, the open plan layout combined with the seamless transition to the outside spaces, makes the whole space feel spacious, light and relaxing. And when you want to get cozy in the evening, just put some logs on the burner and snuggle up on the sofa.

Aside from the usual bedrooms, bathrooms and living space, Lake View has much more to offer. Like the meticulously well kept rear garden and patio area, which features large outdoor rattan furniture and gas barbecue, perfect for some Cornish al fresco dining. Meanwhile, kids (and big kids) can enjoy a game of table tennis.
For those who'd rather stay in, there's even a dedicated cinema room, with huge, comfy sofas, a 65" screen and Blu-ray player - perfect for a family movie night.

Completed in July 2017, Lake View is the fruit of a labour of love for owners, Maggie & Tim. Set in their home, the picturesque village of Millbrook, Lake View is a detached, 4 bed, luxury Cornish holiday cottage. Set over three floors, it boasts views toward Millbrook Lake. A spacious, open plan living space spread across the entire first floor spills out on to a large, beautifully landscaped, private garden to the rear, and a balcony that stretches the width of the house to the front. Meanwhile, two of the four double bedrooms, that sleep up to 8 adults, offer flexible sleeping arrangements through the clever use of innovative zip-and-link beds.
The central location of Lake View within the Rame Peninsula, often referred to as 'The Forgotten Corner of Cornwall, makes it the perfect base for exploring all that South East Cornwall has to offer. From sleepy Cornish fishing villages and stunning sandy beaches, to stately homes with formal gardens and amazing attractions like the Eden Project, there is something for everyone here.

The postcard-perfect, twinned fishing villages of Kingsand & Cawsand are less than 30 minutes walk from Lake View. Once famous for their appeal amongst smugglers, the villages have remained largely untouched by the unwavering advance of modern society. Boasting spectacular views across Plymouth Sound, sand & shingle beaches and, of course, a handful of traditional Cornish pubs, you won't want to miss this real taste of Cornwall.
With 3 miles of untouched, spectacular sandy beaches hidden beneath sheer cliffs, Whitsand Bay is not only one of Cornwall's best kept secrets, but one of the UK's. Descending through small, uneven gravel paths and some steep sets of steps, Whitsand Bay is not the most easily accessible. But of course, it is for that exact reason that it has remained the beautiful, unspoilt coastline that it is today. Unmissable, if you're willing and you're able.
Built between 1547 and 1553, and home to the Earls of Edgcumbe for over 400 years, Mount Edgcumbe House is a Grade II listed stately home with expansive and immaculately kept Grade I listed gardens. The grounds of the park are free to enter and open year round. You'll find something for everyone here, from activities such as Adventure Segway, to a selection of traditional old shops & trades, such as the local blacksmiths, waiting to be discovered.
Sat atop the coastal headland of Rame Head is St Michael's, a 14th Century chapel. Located along the South West Coast Path, the views from Rame Head are ones not to be missed. With Whitsand Bay to the West, and views toward Plymouth to the East. Steeped in history, this headland is suspected to be the site of an even more ancient Celtic Hermitage, it was used as a lookout point to warn of the Spanish Armada in the 16th Century, and later used as a defensive encampment during both WWI & WWII.
Still an active fishing port, Looe's narrow maze of streets conceal some fantastic places to eat. If you like fresh seafood, it doesn't get much fresher than here. With award winning fish and chips and a selection of gastro pubs overlooking the harbour, Looe is a placed not to be missed if you love seafood. In addition to the fantastic food, there are lots of quirky and intriguing little shops for you to discover, and an array of local attractions. Looe is approximately 30 minutes from Lake View by car.
Situated just across the natural border of Plymouth Sound, in Devon, the city of Plymouth is well worth a visit. Especially if you take the ferry from Cawsand Beach, which runs during the seasonal months and lands in the historical area of Plymouth known as The Barbican. Here, lining the cobbled streets, you'll find listed buildings, bars, restaurants and shops, the National Marine Aquarium and even the world famous Plymouth Gin Distillery, which has been producing gin since 1793. Land-lovers can also visit Plymouth via the Tamar Bridge!
